NOTE: A GEDCOM file is a special genealogy data exchange file that
can be created by and imported into most genealogy computer programs. If
you do not have a genealogy computer program with GEDCOM capabilities,
you will need a special program to view
the GEDCOM files. Click here for some
software sources for both the PC and Mac to view GEDCOMs.
All GEDCOM files on my site are zipped (compressed) and will self
extract/expand once they have been downloaded (if they don't expand automatically,
click on the downloaded file twice).
NOTE: A PDF (Portable Document Format) file is a special file format
created by Adobe Systems, Inc. for viewing or printing documents without
losing the document's original formating. It requires Adobe Acrobat Reader
to view or print the files which is a FREE program from Adobe. If you don't
already have it,click here to download
the PC or Mac version of Acrobat Reader. (Both are
FREE from Adobe)
NOTE: You will need to use either a Microsoft product such as Word
(Mac or PC), Microsoft Works or another program that can read Word files
(many do). If you cannot utilize a Word file, e-mail
me and I'll send you an RTF (Rich Text Format) version of the file
which can be read by nearly any word processing program.
All Word files on my site are zipped (compressed) and will self
extract/expand once they have been downloaded (if they don't expand automatically,
click on the downloaded file twice).
